Dear Rhoda,
QT Pi is doing a molt. She has one new big wing feather. I assume she has a whole bunch of new little feathers, too. She is turning into a cuddle bug, and really resists going back into her cage. Nothing nasty, just little tricks to stay out more. She also tries to sneak out when I change her dishes. She will also fly to be with me if I leave the room. She really enjoys her dried pasta and dried out bread. Those are the first things she goes for in her treat cup. But she still eats her Harrisons, like a good girl.
I'm still really enjoying all my birds. Will and my husband are very good with QT Pi.
Well, hope all is well with you and your flock.
your bird friend,
Marj
P.S.: I highly recommend the Blue-headed Pionus as a pet bird. For a first-time parrot owner, they are not too big or too noisy, and it is really sweet when she wants her head scratched.
 Marjorie from Voorhees, N. J.
